| Well, you can get a 35lb bag of Canidae for About $40-45 depending on where you go. They just switched their formula, but I have a dog with alleriges and he is doing fine on it still. I buy the Lamb and Rice All Life Stages formula. | |

| I feed my dogs Diamond Performance. My dogs do well on it, Harley has a sensitive stomach so my food choices are limited. It's $30 for 50lbs. | |

| I fed Diamond Performance to Jedi for a while some years back. He did okay on it, but the dog had coat problems his whole life until he put him on Canidae. A brief scan of the Dog Food Analysis website shows that most Diamond formulas rate a 1-star, except for the Naturals and a few others which rate a 3-star. I would feed a 3-star food if I had no choice, but not a 1-star, not ever. JMO, we can do better than that. The Canidae All-life Stages formula is still one worth looking at, IMO. I am not happy about the changes, but so far have only seen some different-colored poops. The Canidae ALS rates a 5-star, and the L&R and C&R formulas rate a 4-star. I plan on continuing to feed Canidae until I can finally track down a better deal on Nature's Variety. Still working on that. | |

It's already been updated since the change. - Sadieblues wrote:

That's good stuff. Expensive, though. I seriously considered it, but at the time we were getting Canidae 40 lbs for $40 and Innova was 35 lbs for $45. Now that Canidae has downsized their bags, I'm considering Innova if plan A falls through.

Lindsey I have to say their coats look fabulous on this feed the largest bag costs me $50.00 I have been very happy with it and I mix omega 3 oil and vitamins in the mix and I am very pleased. I was feeding diamond but switched and couldn't be happier

| I prefer Chicken Soup but when the money is a little tight, I feed Diamond Naturals Lamb and Rice and Puppy. The dogs look great. I also have one with a sensitive tummy and she is on the lamb and rice and is doing great. | |
